The Ramp Project, a USA-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit co-founded by Navya Pathak, is taking bold strides to champion universal accessibility and inclusivity. Committed to making accessibility an everyday reality, The Ramp Project focuses on constructing ramps in public spaces and sharing transformative stories to ensure that access is a right, not a privilege.
During a recent initiative in Ahmedabad, Navya Pathak led a medical camp that brought together a dedicated team of doctors to offer essential health checkups to underserved communities. The multidisciplinary panel—including ENT specialists, gynecologists, pediatricians, and more—provided exceptional care, reaching hundreds of individuals in need.
Navya Pathak remarked at the event:
“At The Ramp Project, our vision is to make accessibility a universal standard. By building ramps and sharing our experiences, we strive to create a society where everyone, regardless of ability, can access public spaces with dignity. Events like this medical camp allow us to bridge medical disparities to make medicine a more inclusive space, providing assistance en masse.”
This successful event marks a pivotal moment in The Ramp Project’s mission to broaden healthcare access, promote skill development, and advance accessibility across India—ensuring that every person has the freedom to move and live with dignity.
