BJP has shared a poster on social media platform X (Twitter). In which Rahul Gandhi was shown as Ravana. In the caption of this post, BJP wrote – This is the new age Ravana, who is evil, anti-religious and anti-Ram. BJP wrote that their aim is to destroy India. The poster was titled India is in crisis.

Along with this, BJP has released the fourth episode titled ‘Ghamandiya Files’ from its social media handle Twitter. In this chapter, BJP has targeted the ruling TMC in West Bengal and wrote, ‘Winning elections in Bengal under the rule of TMC. How democracy is being torn to pieces, Mamata Banerjee’s activists have spread fear from village to village through attacks, murders and rapes.

New Age Ravan

Importantly, Congress Rajya Sabha MP Imran Pratapgarhi has attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party for sharing Rahul Gandhi’s Ravana poster. He said that the BJP has become nervous and is therefore cornering Rahul Gandhi by issuing such statements and posters. BJP is upset with INDIA Alliance and wants to break INDIA Alliance with such statements but it will not happen. There is no greater devotee of Shiva than Rahul Gandhi.

Celebrating 20 Years of “Vibrant Gujarat Summit” in presence of PM Narendra Modi https://english.thefirenews.com/celebrating-20-years-of-vibrant-gujarat-summit-in-presence-of-pm-narend/ https://english.thefirenews.com/celebrating-20-years-of-vibrant-gujarat-summit-in-presence-of-pm-narend/#respond Wed, 27 Sep 2023 14:13:26 +0000 https://english.thefirenews.com/?p=2316 Narendra Modi is currently on a two-day visit to Gujarat, Modi participated in an event commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit. Additionally, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for projects valued at over 5,000 crores in Bodeli, Chhota Udepur.

The event, organized to mark the 20th anniversary of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, was addressed by Prime Minister Modi. He emphasized that this event is not merely about branding; it signifies a strong bond between him and the seven crore citizens of Gujarat.

Addressing the gathering, Prime Minister Modi stated that Vibrant Gujarat has grown into a symbol of progress. When he initiated this summit, some central ministers were initially reluctant to participate. There were attempts to disrupt the investment environment, with threats made to discourage investors from putting their money into Gujarat.

Prime Minister Modi further revealed that he invited other states to participate during that period. He encouraged states to set up stalls at the event and reap the benefits. States like Haryana, Odisha, and several others seized this opportunity for their advantage.

During his address at the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, Prime Minister Modi also remembered the Godhra incident. He recalled the violence that erupted in Gujarat following the incident. At the time, despite having limited experience as Chief Minister, he maintained unwavering faith in the people of Gujarat. He acknowledged that some individuals had ulterior motives and were intent on tarnishing Gujarat’s image. However, he and his government made the necessary decisions to lift Gujarat out of this negativity.

Prime Minister Modi emphasized that those pursuing their agenda were interpreting events according to their own perspective. They propagated the idea that Gujarat would witness an exodus of youth, businesses, and industries. There was a concerted effort to discredit Gujarat on the global stage. The narrative that Gujarat would never recover prevailed. In the face of this crisis, Prime Minister Modi made a resolute commitment to lead Gujarat out of it, regardless of the challenges.

He underscored that their efforts not only transformed Gujarat but also envisioned a brighter future for the state, with ‘Vibrant Gujarat’ serving as a vital platform to boost the self-confidence of the state’s residents.”

India, That is Bharat : Only Just “Bharat” “Bharat” “Bharat” https://english.thefirenews.com/india-that-is-bharat-only-just-bharat-bharat-bharat/ https://english.thefirenews.com/india-that-is-bharat-only-just-bharat-bharat-bharat/#respond Tue, 05 Sep 2023 12:03:34 +0000 https://english.thefirenews.com/?p=1188 In a move seemingly driven by concerns over the INDIA alliance, the Modi government has reignited the INDIA vs “Bharat” debate for political gain, according to opposition party leaders on Tuesday.

Departing from established norms, the Modi government has sent dinner invitations to G20 leaders with the inscription ‘President of Bharat’ instead of the usual ‘President of India.’

The senior Congress leader, Jairam Ramesh, was the first to point out this anomaly. In a fresh critique of the Modi government, he remarked, “It appears that the news is indeed accurate. Rashtrapati Bhawan has issued an invitation for a G20 dinner on September 9th under the name ‘President of Bharat’ instead of the usual ‘President of India’ (sic).”

Taking a swipe at the BJP-led Union government, the Congress leader continued, “While Article 1 of the Constitution may state, ‘Bharat, that was India, shall be a Union of States,’ even this ‘Union of States’ is now under threat.”

Tehseen Poonawala, a Congress supporter and political activist who also serves as an advocate at the Supreme Court, stated on X, “Article 1 of the Indian Constitution clearly states that ‘India that is Bharat shall be a union of states.’ There is no question of renaming India as only Bharat.

“This simply cannot be done – it goes against the Basic Structure of our Constitution and is impossible to change. Such a move would lead to further complications in the North East and South India. Dropping the name INDIA is impossible!” opined Tehseen.

In a scathing critique of the Modi government, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal asked, “If an alliance of some parties were to become India, would they change the name of the country? The country belongs to 1.4 billion people, not just one party.

“Let’s assume that the India alliance rebrands itself as Bharat, would they then rename Bharat as BJP?… What kind of joke is this?… BJP seems to be worried that their vote count will decrease, so they want to change the name of Bharat,” quipped Kejriwal on X.

Bharat

RJD leader Manoj Jha, referring to the INDIA alliance’s tagline, ‘Judega Bharat, Jeetega INDIA,’ said, “You [Modi government] cannot take Bharat or INDIA away from us.
“It has been only a few weeks since we named our alliance INDIA, and the BJP has already started sending invitations with ‘Republic of Bharat’ instead of ‘Republic of India’,” added Jha.

It’s worth noting that Assam Chief Minister Himnata Sharma was the first to introduce the idea of using Bharat as a contrasting political slogan against INDIA.

Although the Constitution refers to the country as “India, that is Bharat,” there is growing clamor for a name change during a special session of Parliament. Following Sharma, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal called for the removal of ‘India’ from the Constitution, arguing that it symbolizes colonial slavery.
Recently, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has also expressed support for the name change, urging citizens to embrace “Bharat” instead of “India,” stating that India is a Hindu Rashtra and has been known as Bharat for ages.”

Rahul Comments on Special Parliament Session | Suggests Signs of Panic https://english.thefirenews.com/rahul-gandhi-comments-on-special-parliament-session-suggests-signs-of-panic/ https://english.thefirenews.com/rahul-gandhi-comments-on-special-parliament-session-suggests-signs-of-panic/#respond Thu, 31 Aug 2023 19:21:01 +0000 https://english.thefirenews.com/?p=1182 Rahul Gandhi, a prominent leader of the Indian National Congress and a Member of Parliament, has characterized the decision of the Narendra Modi government to convene a Special Parliament Session of the Parliament as a potential sign of unease within the ruling establishment.

When asked about the upcoming special session scheduled from September 18 to 22, Gandhi expressed his views, stating, “In my view, this could be an indicator of a degree of apprehension. It’s reminiscent of the kind of unease that emerged when I addressed the parliament previously—a situation that led to the abrupt revocation of my parliamentary membership.”

During a press conference held alongside the Indian Nationalist Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) gathering in Mumbai, Gandhi also drew attention to the resurgent Adani controversy, which gained renewed attention with fresh revelations on August 31. He remarked, “So, I see this as a manifestation of concern, as these matters directly pertain to the prime minister. Whenever the Adani issue is touched upon, it seems to make the prime minister notably uneasy and anxious.”

Earlier, Pralhad Joshi, the minister for parliamentary affairs, shared on the platform X (formerly Twitter), “A special session of Parliament (the 13th Session of the 17th Lok Sabha and the 261st Session of the Rajya Sabha) is scheduled from September 18 to 22, comprising five sittings. In the auspicious time, we anticipate productive discussions and debates in the Parliament.”

However, no official information has been provided regarding the session’s agenda. The session is set to occur shortly after the G20 Summit in the national capital on September 9–10. Joshi accompanied his statement with an image of both the old and new parliament buildings, which were inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 28. The previous monsoon session of Parliament was held in the older building.

The announcement of this special session has caught the political sphere by surprise, particularly as political parties are gearing up for assembly elections in five states later this year. Traditionally, the winter session of Parliament commences in the final week of November.”

China’s New Map Sparks Outrage: Is World Diplomacy on the Brink? https://english.thefirenews.com/chinas-new-map-sparks-outrage-is-world-diplomacy-on-the-brink/ https://english.thefirenews.com/chinas-new-map-sparks-outrage-is-world-diplomacy-on-the-brink/#respond Tue, 29 Aug 2023 13:26:27 +0000 https://english.thefirenews.com/?p=1179 China’s recent presentation of its updated “China’s New Map” has ignited a storm of controversy due to its incorporation of disputed territories, including Arunachal Pradesh, Aksai Chin, Taiwan, and the contentious regions within the South China Sea. The unveiling, occurring on August 28th, has raised diplomatic concerns and resurrected ongoing disputes.

The official China’s New Map, referred to as the 2023 edition, was introduced through the Ministry of Natural Resources’ standard map service website. The map employs a methodology revolving around national borders to portray China’s perspective on global geography, potentially aggravating tensions with neighboring countries.

As stated by the state-run Global Times on X (formerly Twitter), “This map is constructed based on China’s interpretation of national boundaries and those of various countries worldwide.

Of significant note is the inclusion of Arunachal Pradesh and Aksai Chin, both areas that have long been subjects of conflicting claims between China and India. Despite China’s assertions of Arunachal Pradesh as South Tibet, the region has remained an integral part of India. India has consistently reiterated this stance, asserting that Arunachal Pradesh has always been and will remain an inseparable component of the nation, according to reports by PTI.

China’s recent presentation of its updated China’s New Map has ignited a storm of controversy due to its incorporation of disputed territories, including Arunachal Pradesh, Aksai Chin, Taiwan, and the contentious regions within the South China Sea.

The map’s ambit extends beyond India’s borders. China’s insistence on Taiwan as an inherent part of its territory and its ongoing efforts to assimilate the island align with President Xi Jinping’s strategic objectives. This portrayal further inflames tensions between China and Taiwan, a matter of global significance.

Additionally, China’s demarcation includes the contentious nine-dash line, which asserts a considerable portion of the South China Sea as Chinese territory. This move is met with opposition from countries such as Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei, and Taiwan, all of which have competing claims over the same maritime regions.

China’s New Map : India-China boundary dispute

India and China lack an officially recognized international border. Instead, they share a Line of Actual Control and differing perceptions of the de facto boundary spanning over 3,400 km.

The two nations engaged in conflict in 1962, during which China occupied the Aksai Chin area – historically part of India’s Jammu and Kashmir – and subsequently withdrew from Arunachal Pradesh in the northeast, which China views as belonging to the Tibet region.

I also eagerly anticipate engaging in one-on-one discussions with several leaders gathered in Johannesburg,” Modi expressed.

I am scheduled to visit the Republic of South Africa from August 22nd to 24th, 2023, following an invitation from President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa. The purpose of my visit is to attend the 15th BRICS Summit hosted in Johannesburg under the leadership of South Africa,” Modi stated.

He added, “I am also looking forward to engaging in bilateral dialogues with select leaders present at the Johannesburg gathering.”

“This excursion marks my maiden visit to this ancient land. I am honored to be the first Indian Prime Minister to set foot in Greece in over four decades,” he articulated.

Modi underscored the historical connections between India and Greece, stretching back over two millennia, with modern-day ties bolstered by shared democratic values, rule of law, and pluralism. The current presidency of BRICS rests with South Africa this year. The central theme for the summit is “BRICS and Africa: Fostering Mutually Accelerated Growth, Sustainable Development, and Inclusive Multilateralism.”

This event signifies the return to in-person meetings after three consecutive years of virtual sessions due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a briefing preceding Modi’s voyages to South Africa and Greece, Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra highlighted, “As mentioned earlier, the host nation, South Africa, has invited not only numerous guest countries but also the attending BRICS members.”

Kwatra disclosed that an Indian business delegation would also be present, participating in the Business Tracks meetings.

Elaborating on the Prime Minister’s itinerary, Kwatra elucidated, “For the 15th BRICS Summit, an Indian business delegation is also en route to South Africa to take part in the Business Tracks meetings, along with sessions of the BRICS Business Council, BRICS Women Business Alliance, and the BRICS Business Forum.”

“The specifics of the Prime Minister’s schedule regarding bilateral interactions with attending leaders are still in the process of development,” Kwatra clarified.

While Russian President Vladimir Putin will virtually engage in the 15th summit, the Russian delegation will be led by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. Lavrov will also participate in a special event themed “BRICS – Africa Outreach and BRICS Plus Dialogue.”

Chandrayaan-3 sent pictures of Moon and Earth https://english.thefirenews.com/chandrayaan-3-sent-photo-of-moon-and-earth/ https://english.thefirenews.com/chandrayaan-3-sent-photo-of-moon-and-earth/#respond Sat, 19 Aug 2023 08:25:31 +0000 https://english.thefirenews.com/?p=1117 The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) unveiled videos recorded by Chandrayaan-3’s Vikram lander on Friday. One of the videos, filmed by the Lander Position Detection Camera (LPDC) on August 15 while attached to the propulsion module, provides a clear view of Moon craters. Another video, captured by the Lander Imager (LI) Camera-1, offers a glimpse of Earth, albeit in a smaller form.

In the first video, recorded on Indian Independence Day, the moon’s dark side is seen in where the lander will attempt a soft touchdown on August 23.

In the second video, Earth can be seen with the moon in the background. The video is captured just after the landing module and propulsion module separation, successfully undertaken by ISRO on Thursday. The visuals also show far-side lunar impact craters including Fabry, Giordano Bruno and Harkhebi J.

ISRO Unveils Mesmerizing Video of Moon and Earth from Chandrayaan 3 Vikram Lander”

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) delighted space enthusiasts by unveiling captivating videos captured by the Vikram lander of Chandrayaan-3 on Friday. These videos provide an exciting glimpse into our lunar neighbor and our home planet Earth.

In one of the videos, we’re treated to a remarkable view of the Moon’s craters, all thanks to the Lander Position Detection Camera (LPDC). This footage was recorded on August 15 while the lander was securely attached to the propulsion module. The craters appear as intricate patterns on the lunar surface, giving us a closer look at the Moon’s intriguing landscape.

The second video, filmed by the Lander Imager (LI) Camera-1, grants us a unique perspective of Earth. While it’s not as large as we’re used to seeing it, the sight is still awe-inspiring. This video was captured shortly after ISRO’s successful separation of the landing module from the propulsion module, a significant achievement that occurred just the day before. The visuals also showcase lunar impact craters on the far side of the Moon, including Fabry, Giordano Bruno, and Harkhebi J.

The timing of the first video holds special significance, as it was recorded on India’s Independence Day. In this footage, we’re given a view of the Moon’s darker side, which is the intended landing site for the soft touchdown planned for August 23.

These remarkable visuals have been made public by ISRO as part of the Chandrayaan-3 mission. This mission marks an important step in space exploration, as the Indian lunar spacecraft has already captured its initial images of the Moon while entering its lunar orbit.

Russia’s Luna-25 also shares Moon images

Luna-25 automatic station flying in a circular orbit of the artificial satellite of the Moon has taken a picture of the lunar surface with television cameras of the STS-L complex. The image shows the southern polar crater Zeeman on the back side of the Moon. The coordinates of the crater centre correspond to 75 degrees south latitude and 135 degrees west longitude, the country’s state space corporation Roscosmos said in a post on the social media platform Telegram on Thursday.

Invisible from the Earth crater Zeeman – a unique object on the lunar surface and is of great interest to researchers – the height of the surrounding shaft reaches 8 kilometres above the surface of a relatively flat bottom, it added.
